Advanced Data is an IT Managed Service Provider located in downtown Asheville, NC. We provide a complete managed service offering and network support, a full line of hosting services, computer, network solutions, CloudSync File Sharing and Backup, business phone systems, and much more. As a result, we have served hundreds of local and regional customers through the years. We are proud that we still serve many of those customers today. In addition to Computer Science degrees, our technical team maintains current Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, 3CX, Fortinet, Adtran, Dell, HP, Ruckus, Axis, and many more.

Our Story

Advanced Data started in early 2003 while the Scheewe brothers were still in college. As word quickly spread of the quality workmanship and service that was provided, they soon brought on others.

Brian recalls that their first big client came to them a month after he graduated. “I remember working up the quote and being astonished at how much money it was—I’d never seen that much money,” he said. “But we proved to them and to ourselves that we could do it and do it well. I am always grateful they took a chance on us, and they are still happy customers today.”

From humble beginnings with two employees to over 25 employees today, the company never forgets its Asheville roots.

“I never imagined we would become a company like this, I didn’t have the aspirations, it just happened, I am blessed. We have good people, and good clients. We wanted to do what we love and do it well. And although we’ve had struggles and growing pains, we’ve learned from those and established best practices as a result,” said Brian.
